IP Address: Set to 192.168.1.1
Enable DHCP:
Start IP: 192.168.1.3
End IP: 192.168.1.254 (or suitable range for your network size)
Connect to Broadband: Ensure Router 1 is connected to your internet source.
WiFi Setup: Configure WiFi with a strong password and enable WPA3 or WPA2 security.
IP Address: Set static IP to 192.168.1.2
Disable DHCP: Make sure DHCP is turned off to avoid conflicts.
Mode: Set Router 2 in "Access Point" or "Bridge" mode.
Connect to Router 1: Use a LAN port on Router 2 to connect to a LAN port on Router 1, not the WAN port.
Printer 1:
Static IP: 192.168.1.87
Connection: Connect via Ethernet to Router 2.
Printer 2:
Static IP: 192.168.1.88
Connection: Connect via Ethernet to Router 2.
Router 1: Ensure DHCP range starts from .3 and does not include .2, .87, or .88.
Router 2: Confirm DHCP is disabled and the mode is set correctly.
Ping Test:
On any network-connected computer, open Command Prompt:
Type ping 192.168.1.87 to check Printer 1.
Type ping 192.168.1.88 to check Printer 2.
If you get replies, the printers are reachable.
Cables: Ensure all Ethernet cables are securely connected.
Power: All devices, including printers, should be powered on.
Printer Test: Print a test page from a device connected to the network to confirm functionality for both printers.
No Response from Printers:
Verify IP settings on each printer.
Check if printers respond when connected directly to a PC or via a different network port.
Network Issues:
If devices aren't connecting, check router firewall settings or try disabling them temporarily for testing.
Documentation: Write down all settings, IP addresses, and configurations for future reference.
Internet Access: Ensure all devices can access the internet.
POS Systems: Verify that all POS systems can connect to and use both printers.
